In 2009, Rev. Natalia was ordained by The New Seminary in NYC.
With an understanding of world faith traditions, she specializes in creating ceremony incorporating multi-traditions, and excels in the creation of personalized service to the couples she has the honor of serving. From the Portuguese and Spanish communities to interfaith couples and the LGBT+ community, she is personally creative and accommodating.
Rev. Natalia also brings to her wedding ministry 40+ years of music teaching and performance experience. A '74 BA from RIC in Spanish/music and a '78 MM from New England Conservatory, she has taught in the public school system in MA as well as on the faculties of Dean College and Roger Williams University. She has worked with folks of all ages in multi musical and ethnic settings, and has served her native Portuguese Community as former director of Coral Herança Portuguesa. Her past performance credits include the band "Amaretta" (international favorites, jazz, and show tunes), as well as the quartet "Brazill 99" (Bossa Nova of the '60's).
Over the last 12 years, The Toltec Wisdom has become her first ranking passion in learning how to teach LOVE, as that is WHO and WHAT WE ALL ARE! (ACIM) Experiential pilgrimage to Teotihuacan, Mexico with Don Miguel Ruiz, Don Miguel Ruiz Jr., Don Jose Ruiz, Michele Laub, and Ellen Luksh has inspired her to reach out and in to young and old in creative universality.
In more recent years she has also served as musical director to the Centers for Spiritual Living Conference of the Americas in Lake Chapala, Mexico, and is a RI-NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Emeritus founding member.
Rev. Natalia has been blessed with the continued gifts of all who come into her LIFE!
